Recipe: Cauliflower Pizza Crust
I used Italiano seasoning in place of the Oregano and pulsed a half a large onion and steamed it with the cauliflower.
I will tell you, it was delicious! My boyfriend ate three pieces! Our roommate, who is a notoriously picky eater, ate two pieces!
Please note: the instructions say to drain the cauliflower well but don’t stress how important the draining process is.
Next time I make this I will steam it the night before and let it drain over night in cheese cloth and a sieve like I do with plain yogurt when I make Tzatziki Sauce.
I used one large head of cauliflower and kept a couple of large pieces to put on the pizza itself and it fit perfectly in my regular sized pizza pan. Obviously the crust doesn’t rise as a yeast crust does but it browns up nicely and looks exactly like a normal pizza crust when you take it out of the oven to put the toppings on it.
