My Two Cent’s Worth: Dating In the Dark

Dating In the Dark

First I want to thank Gwyn for pointing me to this delightful story.

It’s full of angst with plenty of light moments but light on romance and lemons.

You have the stubborn, high-handed but confused by his feelings Sheriff.

You’ve got the stubborn as the day is long telepath who’s just as confused by her feelings.

There’s the snarky, fun loving Pam.

You even have stalker Bill.

As per usual Eric keeps things from Sookie ‘for her own safety’ but the twist is that Sookie keeps things from Eric for the same reason :D.

Sookie even manages to have a romance with a boring old human

They do eventually, after 56 chapters, reach their HEA and it’s a very satisfying happily ever after, too.

You will get a giggle out of how Bill eventually meets his demise, too :D. It’s very apropos and can’t be linked back to any of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dating In the Dark with it’s angst, it’s funny moments and it’s light and fluffy moments. There were times when I couldn’t seem to catch my breath because everything was moving so quickly but then there would be a second of calm and everything was right with the world.

Well done penpractice, well done.

  1. Love the review. Just enough info to have an idea, without giving away anything… like I would lol.
