Review: BDB: Lover Awakened
We have already followed Wrath and Rhage, now it’s time to follow Zsadist : The scarred Brother, the angry Brother, The Brother who only needed the love of the right woman to make him want to live.
What happens when a scarred and eternally angry man meets a woman who won’t take no for an answer? A woman who doesn’t see the scars, she sees the man hiding underneath and loves him regardless of the fact he does everything but physically remove her from his presence?
Follow along with Zsadist, Phury and the rest of the Brotherhood as they take the ride of their lives into the long, twisted road that is love and acceptance.
I loved Lover Awakened!
Like most men Zsadist has the tough exterior; he refuses to let others see his cracks. All he’ll show them is the meanness and anger.
Bella changes all that. She shows him that not every woman is a bitch but every woman can be a bitch when it’s called for. She shows him love, kindness, caring even though he feels unworthy of her attentions.
Bella manages to bring Zsadist’s tenderness to the surface. She teaches him about tenderness and the pleasures of the flesh between two people who care about each other
If you haven’t discovered J. R. Ward or the Black Dagger Brotherhood I highly recommend making their acquaintance: You’ll never see romance stories the same ever again.
