Book Review: The Girl In the Ice

The Girl In the Ice

Robert Bryndza

Can I give MORE than five stars? No? Didn’t think so sigh.

Blurb from the author’s website:

Her eyes are wide open. Her lips parted as if to speak. Her dead body frozen in the ice…She is not the only one.

When a young boy discovers the body of a woman beneath a thick sheet of ice in a South London park, Detective Erika Foster is called in to lead the murder investigation.

I wanted to read something different from what I’ve been reading lately and I found it in spades!

A murder/mystery was just what the librarian ordered!

I got it with my Kobo loyalty points, it’s probably the best use of points I’ve ever spent!

A young woman is found under the ice, dead. Who did the deed? I didn’t figure it out until just before the reveal.

The Girl In the Ice is an edge of your seat page turner set in small town England. I begrudged every minute I had to stop reading to do something so mundane as work or do dishes.

If you want to find out who killed Andrea I highly suggest buying or borrowing a copy!

Give me some sugar!
